How Platonic Asceticism Impacted Social Nudism
After Christ's resurrection, may Christians were heavily influenced by the teachngs of a famous Greek philosopher named Plato. According to Plato's dualistic philosophy, everything physical, including the human body, is bad. The body was looked upon as a prison for the soul. According to this philosophy, our "evil" bodies need to be covered with clothing. Christian naturists reject these notions as unbiblical.
